The Volumes Spoken by Clothes

It’s no secret that our clothes reveal a lot about our personality. It’s an intriguing yet insightful measure, and it’s one that we subconsciously use daily.

Along with this, however, they also share many things about an individual. Using these means, we can gauge one’s frame of mind and learn a lot about them as people themselves.

Here are a few examples of how it may be used:

Their cultural affiliation: When one dons a Saree, people assume that you’re Indian or identify with the culture. The same applies when people assume your affiliation to the Japanese culture if you sport a Kimono.

Their current state of mind: Wearing shabby clothes can often reflect if one is not in a positive state of mind or too preoccupied with a task or person to focus on their dressing. Similarly, if someone wears clean and sophisticated clothes, they are usually perceived as intelligent and respectable.

Their colour preferences: Colours preferences refer to the choice of colours at specific events. For example, at a party with a black and white dress code, a person wearing a striking red dress would either be perceived as highly attention-seeking or rebellious.
