Health Benefits of Tomatoes

Tomatoes are loaded with Lycopene.

Lycopene is an antioxidant that fights molecules called free radicals that can damage your cells and affect your immune system. It helps reduce the risks of lung, stomach, and prostate cancer, alongside lowering risks of diseases in the pancreas, colon, throat, mouth, breast and cervix. This antioxidant also protects tomatoes from UV rays in the same way it protects the cells.
