These are uncertain times, and a lot is going on right now.
It’s bizarre. We’ve never been confined to our homes like this. There are endless deaths daily, and no one can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Here we are, living in an opposite dimension where the word ‘positive’ is the most ‘negative’ word of 2020. Don’t you think this affects our mental health? When being positive is something that we’re all dreading, it renders us incapable of being an optimist. It’s like we are all being pulled into a black hole of loneliness, insecurity and uncertainty.
The world is in an uproar, calamity-struck. We’re all upset, scared, and worried. We’re mentally exhausted. It’s no longer a state of mind, it’s become the state of life.
This quarantine has been a time of uncertainty like never before. The world seems confused, more than anything. But we need to hold on to a little shred of hope, ardently believing that we will find the light at the end of the tunnel. Let’s try to remember the world before, a picture of a world without masks. It’s a matter of time now, and that’s the hope that we need.
The world will regain its splendor. Streets filled with cars and people rushing back to work. Schools reopened, and blissful children’s voices echoing in the now silent hallways. Malls and shops will open and people will be swarming the roads with their friends eating their favorite street food.
The negative feeling in the air will be replaced with joyful, beaming smiles and the positivity in the world will reflect the zealous spirits of each person. This normalcy may seem distant, and many of us may not be able to visualize it. But that day is there. Somewhere between the dark clouds, it’s waiting for the right time. These stormy clouds will clear, and we will get back to life as we knew it.
